The workshops will be presented by Sally Gardner Reed, executive director of the national Association of Library Trustees, Advocates, Friends and Foundations (ALTAFF), a division of the American Library Association, based in Philadelphia.
Targeted toward staff, board members, Friends organizations and foundation members, the workshop is designed to help your library prosper in today's economic climate by providing innovative ideas for increasing your funding base, effective volunteer support, sound marketing and promotion for what you do, and advocacy for the importance of your library in your community.
The workshops are offered at no cost to attendees and there is no limit to the number of attendees from any one library. LEO will provide a complimentary catered lunch. (We will also be inviting attendees from area museums and cultural institutions; these representatives will be charged $5 to help offset catering cost.)
